Recreational Classes

Glastonbury Gymnastics is proud to offer many classes that follow the progression guidelines developed by USA Gymnastics. The emphasis of our recreational gymnastics classes is on individual skill development in tumbling, floor, balance beam, vault, and bars.  Interested in competing but not sure your child is qualified?  Ask about out Xcel Bronze team which allows the recreational level athlete the opportunity to participate in competitive gymnastics.

Children must be 5 years old by the start of the session, with the exception of our Tuesday 3:45-4:45pm class and our Wednesday 3:05-4:05pm class which are open to 4 year old children. Our classes are divided by ability level to ensure that all gymnasts progress in a safe and appropriate manner.  All of our classes are combination classes of all ability levels.  Gymnasts will be evaluated on the first day of class and will be grouped based on their evaluation.
